RIDGWAY — A Mount Jewett man is facing criminal charges after allegedly recording someone in the men’s bathroom at the Ridgway Sheetz.
Junior Rainey, 33, of Clairmont Road, Mount Jewett, is charged with two counts each of intercept communications and criminal use of a communication facility, all third-degree felonies; two counts of invasion of privacy-photograph, view, etc., intimate parts of the other person, misdemeanors; indecent exposure, a second-degree misdemeanor; open lewdness, a third-degree misdemeanor; and summary disorderly conduct, court records indicate.
According to Ridgway Borough police, about 1 p.m. on July 28 at Sheetz on North Broad Street, a male entered the men’s bathroom, and Rainey began to make a video and audio recording with his cell phone of the male using the facilities.
Rainey also “exposed himself in an improper manner” to the male, police reported.
The online court docket for the case, which was filed on Aug. 26, does not indicate that Rainey has been arraigned yet.
