A Ludlow man is in McKean County jail after an alleged assault Monday night.
Samuel L. Dubaich, 34, of 16 Water St., Ludlow, was arraigned before District Judge William Todd on charges of aggravated assault and strangulation, first-degree felonies; simple assault, a second-degree misdemeanor; harassment and disorderly conduct, summary charges.
According to the criminal complaint, at 8:33 p.m. Monday, Lewis Run-based state police were dispatched to Dubaich’s home for a report of a domestic dispute. Warren-based state police assisted because there were not enough troopers available.
Kane Borough Police also assisted, Lewis Run-based state police noted.
Police determined that during the dispute, a female squirted milk in Dubaich’s face, and he got up from his seat and pushed her to the ground. Once she was on the ground, Dubaich grabbed her by the throat, court records stated.
The woman had red marks and bruising on the left side of her neck, as well as a red mark on her left elbow, according to the complaint.
Dubaich is incarcerated in lieu of $20,000 bail.
He is scheduled to appear in Central Court on Sept. 12.
