A fall rabies clinic will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. Sept. 21 at the McKean County SPCA, 80 Glenwood Ave.
It will be a drive-thru clinic that provides shots to cats and dogs for $8 per animal, said Jayson Martin, an animal caretaker at the SPCA.
Dr. Brad MacNeill and some of his staff will be on hand to provide the shots.
“The area we live in is heavily wooded,” said Martin, who explained that puts pets in danger of meeting wild animals. “Rabies is a horrible disease. This is an opportunity for people to come down and get their (pet) vaccinations.”
