JAMESTOWN, N.Y. – Since the fiscal year for Audubon Community Nature Center (ACNC) ends in September, members, staff and volunteers are celebrating the new year a little early. On Sept. 23, visitors are invited to a New Year’s Eve Party celebration and annual business meeting from 5 to 7 p.m. The casual evening includes food and beverages and is an opportunity to reflect on the 2018–19 year, share “resolutions” for the year ahead, and wrap up end-of-the-year board elections.
Cost is $15 per person for food and non-alcoholic beverages, with a cash bar for beer and wine.
Paid reservations are required by Sept. 16, 2019, and can be made by calling (716) 569-2345 during business hours or registering online by clicking through “Current Schedule” at AudubonCNC.org/Programs.
This event replaces the Annual Dinner that included a business meeting and recognition of volunteer hours. The volunteer recognition will now take place at the Volunteer Breakfast in the spring.
