Family, friends and neighbors are invited to join Dawn Blaisdell of Lafayette at an open house to celebrate her 80th birthday.

The open house will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Sept. 7 at the Lafayette Township Community Park on Route 59. Bring along a special memory or just come to visit. No gifts.

A member of Lafayette Evangelical Christian Church, she worked in various retirement homes throughout the area and was married to the late Harold “Skip” Blaisdell for 55 years.

She has nine children, 21 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
