OLEAN, N.Y. — A new transfer agreement has been finalized between Jamestown Community College and St. Bonaventure University for their nursing programs.
The agreement guarantees admission, with full junior standing and the opportunity to earn a bachelor’s degree in nursing with four semesters at St. Bonaventure, to students who graduate from JCC with an associate’s degree in nursing degree.
JCC nursing graduates must also have an unencumbered RN license and current registration in the state to which they want the St. Bonaventure clinical hours to apply. They must have either practiced nursing or graduated from JCC’s nursing program within the past five years. St. Bonaventure will accept up to 75 transferable JCC credits.
Students can also choose to earn the bachelor’s degree in nursing at St. Bonaventure over a longer period of time by taking courses on a part-time basis.
St. Bonaventure coursework will include both face-to-face and online/distance learning instruction.
