Bradford Regional Medical Center and VNA Northwest PA will hold a series of trainings for those interested in becoming a hospice volunteer.
Some things hospice volunteers help patients and their families with include reading and writing letters, preparing meals, providing emotional and physical support and bereavement follow up. The group of volunteers also meets quarterly.
Sessions will be held at BRMC from 1:30 to 4 p.m., on Thursdays in September. To register, call 362-8288.
