NARFE CHAPTER 1782 is planning a picnic for Sept. 5 at the Lafayette Township municipal park on Route 59 beginning at 11:30 a.m. A chicken barbecue and beverages will be provided by the chapter. Anyone willing to bring a dessert is welcome to do so. People should notify Duke if they are bringing anything; Reservations are required by Aug. 27. RSVP either by email, or phone, 598-2248.
