A Bradford woman was arraigned Thursday on allegations that she threatened her pregnant neighbor over on-street parking on Sherman Street.
Sarah O’Neil, 29, of 64 Sherman St., is charged with making terroristic threats, a first-degree misdemeanor; harassment, a third-degree misdemeanor; and disorderly conduct, a summary offense.
According to court records, at 6:45 p.m. July 21, Bradford City Police were called to Sherman Street for a neighbor dispute. When a resident of the neighborhood parked along the street, O’Neil approached her angrily, yelling and kicking her car, telling her she had to move because it was her boyfriend’s parking space. The resident got out of her car and recorded O’Neil “ranting obscenities” toward her and her husband, court records allege.
O’Neil threatened to assault her and to kill her, the records allege. When police spoke to O’Neil, she insisted there were assigned parking spots on the street, and continued to be argumentative and to swear at the officer.
O’Neil was arraigned before District Judge Dom Cercone and released on $1,000 unsecured bail. She was scheduled to appear in Central Court on Aug. 29. She is represented by Coudersport attorney David Ross.
