EMPORIUM — Emporium’s Olkosky-Jessop American Legion Post 194 hosted the American Red Cross BloodMobile on Thursday with 39 productive donations.
Four donors made milestone donations with Elaine Malizia reaching 11 gallons, which means she has donated 88 pints in her lifetime. Peggy Letterman hit 9 gallons, Lyman Skillman hit 5 gallons and Celina Housler reached her first gallon.
There were five double donors of blood and plasma — Denny Grasser, Frank Armanini, Peggy
Letterman, Don Bowser, and Brock Bezkowski.
The next drive at the Emporium Legion will be from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Oct. 10.
