BRADFORD, Pa. — A Bradford man was apprehended on an outstanding warrant Tuesday afternoon on Jefferson Street.
Timothy Schuster, 20, whose address is listed both as Bolivar Drive and homeless, is charged with flight to avoid apprehension.
According to the criminal complaint, about 4 p.m. Tuesday, two officers were traveling north on Jefferson Street when they recognized Schuster walking south. The officers knew there was an active warrant for Schuster for allegedly absconding from probation. Schuster tried to cover his face, but the officers stopped the patrol car and one started to get out. Schuster began to run from them and entered a wooded area. Several more officers responded to the area and Schuster was apprehended.
He was arraigned Friday afternoon before District Judge Dom Cercone and remanded to jail on $5,000 bail. He is scheduled to appear in Central Court on Thursday.
The probation warrant on which Schuster was arrested appears to be from a 2018 charge of resisting arrest in Foster Township.
