OLEAN, N.Y. — Officials with the Olean Meditation Center have rescheduled Yoga Under the Stars event for 8:30 p.m. Friday on the center’s grounds at 2275 Dugan Road.
The evening’s unique yoga session, taught by Kathy Wright, will be offered to children and adults of all ages.
Wright, who has a Yoga practice in Bradford, Pa., is a 200-hour registered yoga teacher who is also trained in trauma yoga for adults and children. She has been teaching a vinyasa flow style for 10 years, and also teaches at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford’s Continuing Education Program.
“The evening’s Yoga Under the Stars will be a gentle flow with an accent on the stars and ending with meditation for relaxation,” Wright said, encouraging parents to bring their children out for a summer evening under a radiant canopy of stars.
The event is free of charge and participants are asked to bring their own yoga mats, if possible. The Center will provide mats for those who don’t have one.
