Kids Fun Day 2019 will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the North Kendall Park located next to Hull Electric. Kids Fun Day is free and open to the public.
Kids Fun Day had been scheduled for July 20, but due to the extreme weather and high heat index, the members of the First Wesleyan Church felt it was a serious health hazard for kids and their parents. The extreme heat also was a danger to the horses, ponies and other animals.
The Kids Fun Day will feature games and water activities, so those attending should be prepared to get wet. Hot dogs, candy and other tasty treats will also be available to the kids. This year instead of a petting zoo, there will be miniature horse and full-size horse rides.
Hull Electric will be donating the water to fill up the water balloons for the activities.
The Wesleyan Church of Bradford has been putting on Kids Fun Day for nearly ten years. The members of the Wesleyan Church see the event as a way for parents and kids to have a fun and stress free day.
