CLEARFIELD — A Route 46 (Emporium Road) bridge, spanning Havens Run in Norwich Township, is complete and open to traffic.
The new bridge, located about three miles southeast of the village of Betula, was replaced as part of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s Rapid Bridge Replacement Project.
The bridge reopened to traffic on Monday. Replacement work was performed by Walsh Construction II of Chicago, Ill.
The new crossing is longer and wider than the one it replaced and is designed with a 100-year lifespan.
