A Bradford man is facing assault charges for an alleged incident July 8 in the city.
Michael J. Pope, 35, of 7 Boyer St., is charged with four counts of simple assault, second-degree misdemeanors; and two counts of summary harassment.
According to the criminal complaint, at 10:15 p.m. July 8, Bradford City police were dispatched to Pope’s home for a domestic dispute. Pope allegedly struck one victim in the forehead and he punched the second juvenile victim in the face and arm.
The complaint stated that Pope, who was intoxicated at the time of the assaults, fled the home in a vehicle before police could find him.
Both alleged victims sought treatment at Bradford Regional Medical Center for their injuries, records said.
Pope is free on $5,000 unsecured bail, and has a Central Court appearance set for Aug. 15.
