SMETHPORT — A mobile food bank, sponsored by St. Elizabeth Church and the Second Harvest Food Bank of Erie, will be held Aug. 13 at St. Elizabeth Church in Smethport.
This food bank is for any McKean County residents who fall within the financial guidelines. One registration per dwelling will be accepted. Pre-registration by phone is required. For those who wish to register, call the St. Elizabeth Church mobile phone at 366-3186 Aug. 5 from 6 to 8 p.m.
Voice mail is not monitored. All callers must speak with a person in order to be registered. Please be patient, as there is a high volume of calls during this time.
Registered applicants must bring a photo ID and at least two boxes to use for food transport. Applicants must come at their designated time for safety reasons.
