Upper Allegheny Alzheimer Support Group: 5:30 p.m. Monday, Bradford Area Public Library. Alzheimer’s Association caregiver support groups are conducted by trained facilitators for caregivers, family and friends of those with dementia to develop a support system, exchange practical information on caregiving challenges and possible solutions, talk through issues and ways of coping, share feelings, needs and concerns and learn about community resources. This support group offers mom-to-mom support for pregnant, breastfeeding moms, and dads and will meet from 6 to 7 p.m., the first Tuesday of each month at the WIC office at Bradford Regional Medical Center and from 10-11 a.m., the third Tuesday of each month at the Bradford Public Library. Sleep Disorder Support Group: 5:30 p.m., Aug. 14, Outpatient Services Center, Suite 33, Bradford Regional Medical Center. The sleep support group is an informative meeting, usually led by a guest speaker, to discuss a variety of subjects concerning obstructive sleep apnea and equipment.
