LIMESTONE, N.Y. — The Limestone Volunteer Firemen’s Club is bringing back a little bit of history with “Ole Home Day” to be held on Aug. 17.
This community event will include bed races, a cornhole tournament, dunk tank, chicken barbecue, music, drink specials and children’s activities.
The bed races begin at 11 a.m. with prizes awarded to the top 3 teams. Spectators can vote on the most creative bed design and the team with the most spirit.
The cornhole tournament starts at 2 p.m., is a double elimination contest and prizes will be awarded to the top three teams.
The event benefits the Limestone Volunteer Fire Department. Registration forms are available at the Limestone Volunteer Firemen’s Club located at 660 Main St., Limestone, or can be downloaded from The Limestone Firemen’s Club Facebook page.
