PORT ALLEGANY — Events for the month of August are scheduled for the S.W. Smith Memorial Public Library.
The Annual Library Dinner Auction fundraiser is on October 26th! The S. W. Smith Memorial Library Dinner Auction committee will be holding a planning meeting on Aug. 1 at 7 p.m. at the Port Freeze Boardroom. If you are interested in helping plan this year’s 30th Anniversary auction, please attend this meeting or contact Mary Burr at 598-1982.
The final day for USDA Summer Snack for kids age birth to 18 is Aug. 16. Kids can stop for that final snack between 2 and 3 pm.
Book Buddies Book Club meets the last Thursday of each month at 6 pm at the library to discuss the monthly book selection. The August meeting will be Aug. 29 to discuss Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens. Any adult is welcome to join.
