Melissa Davis, a veterans service representative from the American Legion, will be in the area in the next few weeks.

She will be at the offices of state Rep. Martin Causer, R-Turtlepoint. Call the offices to make an appointment.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 1, she will be at the Coudersport office.

From 1 to 4 p.m. Aug. 5, she will be at the Kane office.

From 1 to 4 p.m. Aug. 12, she will be at the Bradford office.

Davis will offer veterans assistance with issues such as compensation, education, pension, health care and death benefits. Veterans need not be a member of the American Legion to participate.
