RIDGWAY — Ridgway-based state police report that a St. Marys woman is facing neglect related criminal charges after the suspect was found intoxicated in a vehicle.
Leeann Schloder, 48, of St. Marys, will be charged with neglect of care of a dependent person and recklessly endangering another person for an alleged incident that took place between 2 and 3:30 p.m. June 22, police said.
According to police, Schloder, who was intoxicated, was found unconscious in her vehicle in the driveway of a Ridge Road, Fox Township, home. She also allegedly left the stove turned on.
At the time, Schloder was supposed to be caring for a 92-year-old Kersey woman with dementia, and that woman was placed in danger due to Schloder being intoxicated and leaving the stove on, police indicated.
Police did not say if the 92-year-old suffered any harm from the incident.
