The community is invited to learn about native and invasive plants, plus beneficial pollinators at a free evening workshop next week.
Backyard Conservation Workshop: Native & Invasive Plants + Pollinators will be held at 6:30 p.m. July 23 at Graham’s Greenhouse in Bradford. All participants will get valuable information for their home garden and landscape, plus all present are eligible to win gardening door prizes.
Space is limited, so anyone wanting to attend is asked to pre-register by July 22. Pre-register by calling the McKean County Conservation District at 887-4001 or sending an email to jdgroshek@mckeancountypa.org.
Financial and other support for this project is provided by the Pennsylvania Association of Conservation Districts through a grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection under Section 319 of the Clean Water Act, administered by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The workshop is hosted by a partnership of McKean and Potter County Conservation Districts, University of Pittsburgh at Bradford and Graham’s Greenhouse.
