WARREN — The USDA Forest Service – Allegheny National Forest is hosting an after-hours interpretive hiking experience in the forest from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. July 26 at the Interpretive Trail Trailhead at Hearts Content National Scenic Area.
All ages are invited to participate in a forest ranger-led hike. During the hike participants will explore how to use their senses at night, even their vision.
It is recommended that hikers wear appropriate hiking shoes and clothing. Prepare to be wet and/or dirty depending on the weather.
Limited red-lens flashlights will be available; however, it is recommended participants bring their own.
Hikers are to meet at the Interpretive Trail Trailhead at Hearts Content National Scenic Area off of Hearts Content Road no later than 8:20 p.m. Plan on being on the hike for approximately an hour.
