A blood drive will be held from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 19 at the Bradford City Police Department at 18 Kennedy St.
Police Chief Chris Lucco said, “As first responders we often see the need for donated blood. Partnering with Unyts seems like a perfect fit as the donations stay right here in our community to help the same citizens that we serve.”
The demand for blood tends to outpace supply during the summer season, but the community of Bradford has an opportunity to change that at the Unyts blood drive.
All presenting donors will receive a free t-shirt.
To schedule an appointment to donate blood, contact Unyts at 716-529-4270, or sign up online at www.unytsblooddonor.org. Walk-ins are always welcome.
