No injuries in Norwich Township crash Friday
LEWIS RUN — No one was injured in a crash involving two pick-up trucks on Friday at 2:43 p.m. on Route 46 in Norwich Township.
State police said 26-year-old Steven McHenry of Pittsburgh was operating a truck traveling behind a truck operated by 28-year-old Kylene Lathrop-Paffie of Woodlawn, Tenn. Lathrop-Paffie’s truck slowed down to turn into a driveway and McHenry’s truck could not slow down in time to avoid a collision.
According to police, McHenry’s truck sustained minor damage to the front end, while Lathrop-Paffie’s truck had to be towed from the scene due to damage to the rear quarter panel and passenger side rear tire.
McHenry was charged with a violation of following too closely, police said.
