A Roulette man is facing allegations he possessed firearms and drug paraphernalia charges after police arrested him on a warrant in December.
Zackary D. Snyder, 27, of Roulette, was arraigned Wednesday before District Judge William Todd on two counts of make repairs/sell/etc. offensive weapons, first-degree misdemeanors; and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor.
According to the criminal complaint, at 1:57 p.m. Dec. 23, Kane-based state police assisted Coudersport-based state police in serving a warrant for Snyder at 3434 Route 155, Liberty Township. Troopers arrested Snyder and obtained permission from him to search the residence.
At 2:20 p.m. that day, troopers allegedly found a silver briefcase on the couch in the living room of 3434 Route 155 that contained drug paraphernalia. Then, at 4:10 p.m., troopers seized a sawed-off shotgun at 3771 Route 155, which Snyder dropped off earlier in the day with the intention of picking it up later that night, the complaint stated.
On Dec. 25, a trooper talked to the landlord of the apartment complex at 3434 Route 155, who told the trooper that he saw a suspected firearm in the bathroom of the residence; troopers went to the home later that day and seized a sawed-off shotgun Model 67E, according to the complaint.
Snyder is in McKean County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bail, and he is scheduled to appear in Central Court on July 11.
