TOPS 16
The weekly meeting of Take Off Pounds Sensibly #16 was held Thursday at the First Presbyterian Church.
The meeting was called to order by President Vickie Johnson with the TOPS and KOPS Pledge.
Weight Recorder Carole VanSickle and assistant Barb Smead weighed in 24 members with a loss of 12.8 pounds.
The Best Loser of the Week is Cindy Sturtevant, and the Best Loser in Waiting and Officer of the Week is Barb Smead.
Inspiration was by Dee Rhodes, the fashion tip by Diane Lewis, the household tip by Chris McCracken, the healthy foods by Elaine Harris and the joke by Jeannie Miller.
Nickelodeon is hamburgers. The food to avoid is cookies. The fruit is apples and the vegetable is tomatoes.
The Food Chart went to Sue DellaValle.
Chris McCracken presented a program on the good and bad things for dieting. In the program, McCracken stressed the importance of water and gave each member a bottle of water.
Members were reminded that next week will just be a weigh-in from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. because of Bible school.
The meeting was adjourned with the Friendship Circle and the TOPS Prayer.

PYOGA met at Marsha McCracken’s house on Wednesday for a dish to pass dinner.
A committee will be formed to establish a slate of officers for the 2020 term.
The Bob Swanson 5K Race will be on Aug. 11 at the Kinzua Bridge. A meeting for this race will be held in July at the Kinzua Bridge to make plans for it.
A pound auction was done at the meeting conducted by Auctioneer Bev Roberts. Members were invited to tour the horse barn and ride horses.
A convention will be held in September in Kansas City, Mo. Members are planning to attend.
The group collected items for the SPCA at the meeting.
PYOGA will meet July 17 at Myers Trucking in Mount Jewett with dinner at the Barrel House Restaurant.
