LEWIS RUN — A Hazel Hurst man was arrested on a parole warrant after Lewis Run-based state police and the state police Special Emergency Response Team (SERT) responded to a Hazel Hurst residence Sunday night into Monday morning.
Todd Stahli, 46, of 43 Dewey Ave., Hazel Hurst, was taken into custody at 7 a.m. Monday, Lewis Run-based police stated, though few other details were released.
According to police, at 8:40 p.m. Sunday, they responded to 43 Cleveland Ave., Hazel Hurst, Hamlin Township, as part of an investigation into a report of a theft from township property, as well as a parole warrant.
Police did not say what happened between 8:40 p.m. Sunday and 7 a.m. Monday, nor they did indicate if anyone was hurt.
It was not immediately clear Tuesday night whether charges would be filed against Stahli — or anyone — based on the theft investigation.
Court records indicate that Stahli is still under supervision for an Elk County case in which he was sentenced Oct. 4, 2004, to eight to 16 years in state prison for charges of burglary and aggravated assault. The online court docket states the incident occurred July 8, 2003, in Johnsonburg Borough.
Additionally, he owes payments for two later Elk County cases, court records indicate.
