The First Presbyterian Church and the Emanuel Lutheran Church announce the Vacation Bible School for this year and is set for 9 to 11:30 a.m. June 24-28.
The churches are partnering once again this year, and the VBS will be held at the First Presbyterian Church, 54 E. Corydon St.
This year’s program, a summer kids’ event, is called, “To Mars and Beyond” by Cokesbury. Kids will participate in Bible-learning craft activities, sing songs, play teamwork-building games, experience one-of-a-kind Bible adventures, stories and snacks to remind them of Jesus’ love.
This Bible School is for students entering preschool through fifth grade for the 2019-20 school year.
On June 27, families are invited to a family night beginning at 6 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church. Then on June 28, all VBS participants will visit local care homes to sing the songs learned throughout the week.
Family and friends are invited to attend a welcome party on June 23, following 10 a.m. worship in the First Presbyterian Church. All are welcome to attend worship and then go directly to the side lawn for fun.

Registrations will be accepted any time before June 24 and during the week of VBS at the church.
