SHINGLEHOUSE — The program “U.S. Grant: Life & Myth” will take place at 6 p.m. June 19 at Oswayo Valley Memorial Library.
This program will discuss the life lessons that influenced General Ulysses S. Grant, who went on to become president of the United States. Visitors will encounter a man portraying Gen. Grant, who will talk about how his decisions as a boy and young officer shaped the man he became, as well as how his experiences influenced his later decisions — and the nation.
