Warren motorist injured in Corydon Township crash
LEWIS RUN — A motorist from Warren suffered minor injuries in a one-vehicle accident that happened at 3:10 p.m. Thursday on Route 59 in Corydon Township.
According to Lewis Run-based state police, a car driven by Michael W. Anderson, 59, of Warren, was traveling west on Route 59, when the car drifted off the right side of the road. It struck the embankment, rolled over and came to rest in the center of Route 59 facing east.
Anderson was treated on scene by the Bradford Area Transport Service for minor injuries but declined transport for further treatment, police reported.
Anderson was cited for failing to drive on roadways laned for traffic, police stated.
Suspected child abuse investigated in Bingham Township
COUDERSPORT — Coudersport-based state police investigated child abuse allegations at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in Bingham Township.
Police stated the alleged incident was reported at Hickox Ulysses Road and involved a 6-year-old girl from Genesee. No other details of the allegations were released.
Potter County Children and Youth Services assisted with the investigation.
No charges have been filed at this time, but the investigation is ongoing, according to police.
