Five candidates vying for seats with the Bradford Area School Board were selected during Tuesday’s primary elections for the Republican and Democratic ballots.
According to unofficial results from the McKean County Board of Elections, the five top vote getters on the Republican ballot were incumbent Carla JM Manion, who received 1,226 votes; incumbent Paul Ridley, who received 1,198 votes; Stephanie Scrivo, who received 1,127 votes; Vickie L. Baker, who received 1,100 votes; and Gretchen Daugherty, who garnered 1,012 votes.
Missing the ballot were Matthew Lamade with 762 votes; and incumbent Frances Forbes with 771 votes.
The unofficial results for the Democratic ballot revealed the five top vote getters as Carla JM Manion, who cross-filed, receiving 411 votes; Vickie L. Baker, who cross-filed and received 379 votes; Gretchen Daugherty, cross-filed, with 376 votes; Paul Ridley, cross-filed, with 355 votes; and Frances Forbes, cross-filed with 316 votes.
