It was a close race late Tuesday for Potter County commissioner, with one vote determining who nabbed the Republican nomination.
On the Republican ticket, incumbent commissioner Paul Heimel had the most votes at 1,504, followed by Nancy Grupp with 1,490.
J. David Buckler had 1,489 votes — just one away from Grupp, according to unofficial results.
On the Democratic ticket, Barry Hayman had 650 votes. He was the only candidate.
