It appears as though one incumbent Elk County commissioner may have been knocked off the ballot in Tuesday’s primary.
According to unofficial results released late Tuesday, it appears that incumbent Janis Kemmer failed to capture the Republican nomination. The top two vote-getters were Joe Daghir with 2,190 and M. Fritz Lecker with 1,248, while Kemmer came in closely behind with 1,138 votes.
For the Democratic nod, incumbent Matthew Quesenberry Sr. received 1,759 votes, while Raymond Krise Jr. earned 1,216 tallies.
