The Penn Brad Oil Museum will honor Mike Fuoco and Ray Saunders with this year’s Yellow Dog Award.
The honorees were chosen based on their service to the local oil industry and the Bradford community. They will receive their awards at a special dinner at 6 p.m. June 22 at the Pennhills Club in Bradford.
Reservations and sponsorship forms are available at the museum or by calling 362-1955.
Fuoco is the “go-to man” when it comes to historical knowledge of Bradford and the oil industry. He has contributed books and research to the museum’s library, particularly in the area of oilfield engines.
Saunders distinguished himself in the leadership of the American petroleum industry. He served as general manager of Kendall Refining Co. from 1971 to 1981. Saunders has been generous in providing many precious artifacts to enhance the museum’s Kendall collection.
