SMETHPORT — On Thursday in McKean County Court, a Bradford man pleaded guilty to allegations he asked a law enforcement official posing as a teen to send sexual photographs to him.
David W. Jacks, 46, of Bradford, pleaded guilty to charges of criminal attempt-photograph/film/depict on computer sex act and unlawful contact with a minor-sexual offenses, both second-degree felonies.
According to District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer, between Dec. 12 and Feb. 14, Jacks contacted a state trooper who was posing as a 14-year-old girl. He sent at least 19 nude photos of himself and tried to get the “girl” to send him nude photographs in return.
Jacks must undergo a sexually violent predator evaluation. He will be sentenced Aug. 29.
He is represented by attorney Ashley Shade.
He remains in McKean County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail.
