A public awareness event is scheduled from 5 to 7 p.m. June 3 at the Bradford Area Public Library on the opioid epidemic and its impact on McKean County.
Panelists will include three people from the Network of the Spirit Ministries — Dan Minich, president, Lisa Minich, vice president, and Matt Maholic, trustee and operations manager.
Individuals from the following agencies will be joining the panelists to explain their roles as they relate to the opioid epidemic: McKean County District Attorney’s Office, Bradford City Police Department, Pennsylvania State Police, McKean County Jail, and Alcohol and Drug Abuse Services.
There will be an opportunity for questions from the community, as well as a variety of resources on hand.
The doors open at 4:30 p.m. and the discussion will begin at 5 p.m.
