SMETHPORT — A Buffalo, N.Y., man was sentenced Thursday in McKean County Court to a term in state prison for cocaine delivery allegations.
Mitchell R. Garner, 29, will serve 18 months to three years in state prison with credit for 143 days of time served for charges of conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance, possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance contraband by an inmate.
On May 2, Garner pleaded guilty to allegations that on Dec. 18 he conspired with Leonard Elder to deliver 0.08 grams of cocaine while under the surveillance of the McKean County Drug Task Force; then, while an inmate, he possessed 4.9 grams of crack cocaine with the intent to deliver it.
Also in court, Zachary M. Koch, 20, of Bradford, will serve nine months to two years in state prison with credit for 178 days of time served and one year of probation for a charge of criminal trespassing and summary charges. Koch pleaded guilty May 2 to allegations that on Nov. 13, he entered a garage at 13 E. Songbird Road.
Gregory A. Densmore, 29, of Eldred, will serve 120 days to 23½ months in McKean County Jail with credit for 120 days of time served for a charge of endangering the welfare of children. On April 18, Densmore pleaded guilty to allegations that on Dec. 16, he was supervising a male under the age of 18, and he placed his hands on the child’s throat while grabbing him.
Amila R. Sprague, 32, of Bradford, will serve 10 days to 18 months in McKean County Jail for a charge of recklessly endangering another person. Sprague pleaded guilty April 4 to allegations that she smoked marijuana with a man in front of her young daughter, then left the girl in the man’s care, despite the fact that she had only known the male for a short time and didn’t even know his full name. The man fell asleep, and the child walked from the second floor apartment to the first floor, where she was located.
Angelo Mininni, 49, of Bradford, will serve 43 days to one year in McKean County Jail with credit for 43 days of time served for a charge of disorderly conduct. On April 18, Mininni pleaded guilty to allegations that on Jan. 8, he made unreasonable noise while being arrested.
Jeffrey S. Wood, 23, of Bradford, will serve two days to one year in McKean County Jail with credit for two days of time served, and he will complete 25 hours of community service each week for three weeks in lieu of more jail time. The sentence was for charges of conspiracy to commit access device fraud and conspiracy to receive stolen property. Wood pleaded guilty April 11 to allegations that between Jan. 4-6, 2018, he agreed with Byron Nichols to possess a woman’s access device and wallet, which were stolen.
John C. Cannon, 63, of Bradford, will serve six months in the Intermediate Punishment Program for a charge of DUI-controlled substance and a summary charge.
