OLEAN, N.Y. — Southern Tier Catholic School and Archbishop Walsh Academy will host a “shadow day” for students who are interested in enrolling for the next school year.
The event will be held on May 14 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. STCS/Walsh will provide free transportation for students from St. Bernard’s School, 450 W. Washington Street, Bradford, Pa., at 8:30 a.m. and will return students to St. Bernard’s School at 2:30 p.m. Prospective students will enjoy a typical school day with STCS/Walsh students and learn more about what the school has to offer. Lunch will be provided along with fun activities for everyone.
Bradford Christian Central Charitable Trust Board is offering tuition assistance for any St. Bernard student wishing to attend STCS/Walsh next school year. Starting the 2019-2020 school year, STCS/Walsh will be providing busing services free of charge for Bradford area residents who wish to send their students to STCS/Walsh located just across the PA-NY state line. The bus will pick up students at St. Francis Catholic Church, 15 St. Francis Drive, Bradford, and bus them to the school located in Olean. The bus will also be returning students to Bradford, upon dismissal at the end of the school day.
