COUDERSPORT — An Austin man was unhurt when his pickup truck caught fire while he was driving it on Friday afternoon in Summit Township.
Coudersport-based state police said a truck driven by Dennis Furman, 57, was traveling north on Kaple Hill Road when smoke began coming out from under the hood of the truck, and the truck caught fire.
Furman pulled the truck to the side of the road, got out of the truck and used a fire extinguisher to put the fire out.
Coudersport fire department assisted at the scene. The truck was towed.
