COUDERSPORT — The Potter County Artisan Center and Coudersport Area Chamber of Commerce are hosting a wine and cheese tasting open house from 5 to 7 p.m. May 10 at the center, located at 227 N. Main St.
Locally made wine from Card Creek Winery in Roulette and artisan cheese from God’s Country Creamery in Ulysses will be served along with other refreshments. Steve Quelet will provide live music, and there will be a door prize given to one lucky visitor. No purchase is necessary to win.
The center features a juried collection of local fine art and master craftsmanship including paintings, drawings, photos, pottery, fiber art, jewelry, herbal products and soaps, quilts and quilted items, wood, licensed food products, music and literature, available for purchase.
Many of the artisans will be on hand during the open house to discuss their work.
