Grassroots Cannabis will open a new Herbology dispensary in Bradford.
Grassroots — a company that grows, processes and sells cannabis through its unique, vertically integrated business model — now operates six dispensary licenses in the state with a total of twelve slated to open by the end of 2019. Additionally, Grassroots operates one of thirteen approved grow licenses in the state.
“We are thrilled to continue to expand our presence in Pennsylvania, sharing our unparalleled expertise to further provide consumers access to safe and effective cannabis products within our inclusive environment,” said Matt Darin, COO. “The Herbology experience enhances the communities we serve.”
The Bradford location marks the debut of the new look for Herbology, Grassroots’ retail brand. Herbology has a warm, welcoming vibe that promotes inclusivity and invites customers to stay longer and come back often.
With a relentless dedication to providing patients with high-quality products, personalized service and deep education, Herbology fosters an approachable community environment committed to the cannabis lifestyle.
Herbologists, who go through extensive training and certification, share their knowledge of the cannabis plant and the science behind the products with customers and the community.
The philosophy of Herbology — the study of herbs — is clearly manifested in the dispensary decor, through an herb-focused aesthetic that includes exposed natural wood, glass and greenery.
The atmosphere encourages exploration, with a personalized approach that makes it easy to connect deeply with the brand, products and people.
Available products include: flower, vapes, extracts/oils, topicals and concentrates.
Driven by a shared belief that cannabis enhances life for people from all backgrounds, Herbology is committed to working within each community to offer a unique, wellness and education-focused experience that includes events, support groups and education seminars.
“At Herbology we are committed to educating our customers about the benefits of cannabis, providing high-quality and innovative products and creating an in-dispensary experience that feels personal to people from all walks of life,” said Talley Wettlaufer, vice president and head of retail.
The 3,000 square foot, Bradford Herbology is located at 109 Main Street and is slated to open on May 13, with a 10:30 a.m. celebratory ribbon cutting in partnership with the Bradford Area Chamber of Commerce.
