Kenneth J. Serfass, a first-person impressionist of General Ulysses S. Grant, will be visiting the Bradford Area Public Library and the S.W. Smith Memorial Library in Port Allegany.
Serfass will visit the Bradford Area Public Library at 6 p.m. May 14 and will visit the S.W. Smith Library at 6 p.m. May 15.
The event is free and open to the public.
Serfass, as General Grant, will discuss his use and appreciation of the U.S. railroad system during the time of the Civil War, as well as little known facts and anecdotes. He will also be available to answer questions.
Serfass is a full-time professional living historian portraying Grant. He averages 300 appearances as Grant each year. He also has appeared as Grant on the History Channel and in a reenactment episode of the HBO series “Family Tree.”
Those who attend the event will learn more about Grant, as Serfass will brings history to life.
