A Bradford man is facing allegations he committed indecent assault against a female who told him “no” several times and pulled away from him.
Allan R. Rose, 36, of 172 Elm St., was arraigned Tuesday before District Judge Dominic Cercone on charges of indecent assault, a second-degree misdemeanor, and harassment, a summary charge.
According to the criminal complaint, a female was outside in Rose’s neighborhood, and he asked her to come in his apartment and watch a movie; she told him she couldn’t.
Rose moved closer, grabbed her wrists and tried to kiss her; she turned her head, and Rose kissed her cheek and jaw several times, the complaint stated. She stepped away. Rose continued to suggest she come to his apartment, and she said no.
According to the complaint, he then pushed her into a wall, held her neck and started kissing her neck; the female froze with fear. He allegedly slid his hand down from her neck and groped her. He stopped, and she ran to the apartment of someone she knew.
Rose is free on $5,000 unsecured bail. He is scheduled to appear in Central Court May 9.
