SINNEMAHONING — Scaling mountains, slithering through meadows and swimming in wetlands, reptiles and amphibians, also known as “herps”, can be found throughout Pennsylvania.
On Sunday from noon to 2 p.m., the public is invited to join the Sinnemahoning State Park staff and local herpetology enthusiasts for a chance to learn more about these unique and often misunderstood animals.
This family friendly program is free and registration is not required.
Programs will include live reptile talks, children’s activities, a “herp” search and more. All programs will meet in the Wildlife Center classroom.
