WARREN — The Allegheny River & Watershed Clean-up, which is a cooperative of several federal, state, county and private organizations, will conduct its 15th Annual Allegheny Reservoir Cleanup from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 11.
Volunteers will meet at the Onoville Marina, located in Steamburg, N.Y., at 8 a.m. to sign in. Upon signing in volunteers will be briefed, given trash bags and gloves, and taken to their designated spot on the reservoir.

All volunteers and participants must bring:
• Release form (download at www.alleghenyrivercleanup.com/RiverReleaseForm.pdf)
• Rain gear (the cleanup will be completed rain or shine)
• Full-length pants with closed-toe shoes (dress in layers for a range of weather)
• Food and water (individuals are responsible for their own lunch and snacks)
Additional items participants may want to bring include bug spray, sunglasses, a hat and sunscreen.
To date, the Allegheny Reservoir Cleanup has had 1,042 volunteers who have logged over 8,700 volunteer hours. They have removed 14,998 tires and over 299 cubic yards of trash.
Shared stewardship cleanup projects like this remove trash and debris from local rivers, waterways and reservoir systems in order to keep them healthy and clean for wildlife, recreation use and drinking water.
