Renee Amoore, deputy chairman of the Republican Party of Pennsylvania, will be the keynote speaker at the McKean County Republican Committee’s spring dinner May 9 at the Penn Hills Club in Bradford.
Doors open at 6 p.m. for cocktails, and a 7 p.m. dinner will follow.
A leader in the state party for more than 20 years, Amoore is trained as a registered nurse and has master’s degree in counseling and administration. She has earned a reputation for innovative treatment approaches for persons with mental illness, addictive disorders, mental retardation and others.
She is founder and president of The Amoore Group, which includes Amoore Health Systems, 521 Management Group, and Ramsey Educational and Development Institute. These companies provide economic development and job creation opportunities, government liaison, marketing, and public relations services at both corporate and educational training programs.
Amoore has received many awards, including Pennsylvania’s Best 50 Women in Business, National Registry of Who’s Who, Black Achievers Award, Pennsylvania’s Honor Roll for Women, NAACP Award for Community Service in Education and the “Class of ’98” from Main Line Today magazine. She also was honored by Elizabeth Dole as an Outstanding Entrepreneur for her achievements in the business community.
