Grace Notes Studio of Wilcox will present its 21st annual spring recital at 6 p.m. Saturday in the Johnsonburg High School Auditorium.
Admission is a donation at the door.
The concert will feature piano, voice and guitar students of Tracie Pretak, owner of the studio. Students range in age from 6 to adult. They will perform a variety of music styles, including pop, country, indie, musical theater, Disney and classical.
Following the recital, the studio will present its annual STAR (Student Talent and Achievement Recognition) Awards. Music Excellence certificates will be given to each student for an area in which they excel. Trophies will then be awarded to the hardest-working students of the year.
The group will also have several CDs available for purchase at the door. These feature alumni of Grace Notes Studio, teacher Tracie Pretak and other local musicians.
Students performing are Brent Defranco, Julia Defranco, Lani Ferguson, Jada Fitch, Marshall Hetrick, Kaya Mellquist, Emily Peluso, Shana Polaski, Aubrey Rockwell and Emmett Rockwell, all of Johnsonburg; Claire Brechtel, Aidan Galsick, Sam Galsick, Anna Peterson and Brady Porter, all of Wilcox; Anna Biondi, Marina Caggeso, Emily DeCarli, Katie DeCarli, Darien Gess, Kelly Matha and Olivia Matha, all of Ridgway; Lizzy Anderson of St. Marys; Sophie Gerg of Kersey; Gabby Fye and Sara Kleppinger, both of Weedville; Moira Stanisch of Kane; and Jenny Crowley of Mount Jewett.
