KANE — A Good Friday service will be held at the Lebanon Lutheran Church at 1 p.m. today.
The church is located at Kanesholm between Lantz Corners and Kane on U.S. Route 6. The theme will be “The Way of the Cross.”
Participating in the service will be the Rev. Jan Reynolds, pastor of the East Kane United Methodist Church, the Rev. Cindy Duffee, pastor of the Mount Jewett and Hazel Hurst United Methodist Churches, and the Rev. C. Theodore Benson, pastor of Lebanon Lutheran Church. The organist will be Nancy Gausman and the soloist will be Sonja Geer.
Included will be a narrative presentation of the Passion of Our Lord from the Gospel of John and the historic Bidding Prayer.
The public is invited.
