SMETHPORT — An Eldred man pleaded guilty Thursday in McKean County Court to allegations he assaulted a juvenile.
Gregory A. Densmore, 29, entered the plea to a charge of endangering the welfare of a child. According to Assistant District Attorney Bridget Murphy, on Dec. 16, Densmore was supervising a male under the age of 18, and he placed his hands on the child’s throat while grabbing him. He will be sentenced May 9.
Also in court, Parker L. Lumley, 19, of Slippery Rock, pleaded guilty to a charge of fleeing or attempting to elude an officer and a summary charge. Court records filed at the time Lumley was first arrested indicate he was accused of leading Port Allegany Police on a high-speed chase when an officer tried to pull him over for a traffic violation. Lumley will be sentenced May 23.
Tara L. Rounsville, 44, of Smethport, pleaded no contest to a charge of theft by unlawful taking. On Dec. 13, Rounsville took $20 in cash from someone, said Murphy. Rounsville will be sentenced May 23.
Michael P. Roche, 29, of Port Allegany, will serve six months in the Intermediate Punishment Program for charges of DUI-alcohol and a summary charge.
Angelo Mininni, 49, of Bradford, pleaded guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct. On Jan. 8, Mininni made unreasonable noise while being arrested, said Murphy. He will be sentenced May 9.
The following people were accepted into the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition Program: Andrea L. Hewitt, 51, of Eldred, for DUI-controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia; and Atasha C. Simbeck, 31, of Kane, for firearm not to be carried without a license.
